OSHI NO KO Season 2 has unveiled its main anime visual and trailer, along with a July 3 premiere date. Ayane Sakura will be voicing Abiko Samejima, and Daisuke Ono will be playing Goa, among other newly announced cast members. Once more, the series will be animated by Studio Doga Kobo. Oshi No Ko Season 2 Plot Twist
The first season of OSHI NO KO is available on HIDIVE, and the anime’s July return to the platform has been confirmed. They explain the narrative as follows:
When young actress Ai Hoshino shows up at Dr. Gorou Amemiya's clinic pregnant, he decides to discreetly and safely deliver her baby so Ai can return to the stage without any scandals. However, Gorou is killed by Ai's delusional stalker the night before she gives birth, and she then reincarnates as Ai's child, Aquamarine Hoshino! The entertainment industry's shadowy underbelly is concealed by the glitz and glamour of showbiz. Is he able to propel his newly adopted mother to the top of the charts?
Mengo Yokoyari is the illustrator of the OSHI NO KO manga, while Aka Akasaka writes the script. It debuted in April 2020 and is published by Shueisha in Weekly Young Jump, a seinen manga magazine. Yen Press is the publisher of the English edition.
That season, the anime dominated our seasonal rankings, taking home the top prize for Anime of the Season for OSHI NO KO. The Best Male Character and Best Male Seiyuu went to Aqua and his voice actor Takeo Otsuka, while Kana Arima took first place in the Best Female Character rankings (Akane and Ruby came in second and third). The voice of Ai Hoshino, Rie Takahashi, won Best Female Seiyuu. The anime’s opening and closing theme songs also took first place in their respective categories.
